. Part-time Site Supervisor (Flexible working pattern: 10 hours per week). Brookside Primary School is a warm, inclusive and ambitious school community. This role is responsible for ensuring the school site is safe, secure, clean, and well-maintained for pupils, staff, and visitors.
- Opening and securing the school premises, including alarm systems
- Carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and basic DIY tasks
- Monitoring the cleanliness and upkeep of buildings and grounds
- Supervising and coordinating contractors and site works
- Ensuring health and safety compliance across the site
- Managing routine checks (e.g. fire alarms, water temperature, equipment safety)
This position is part time, term time only. The salary quoted is full time equivalent; if successful, the salary will be paid on a pro‑rata basis.

Essential Experience- Has practical maintenance or caretaking experience
- Is reliable, trustworthy, and takes pride in their work
- Can work independently and manage their time effectively
- Has a good understanding of health and safety regulations
- Is flexible and willing to support the wider school community
- Has strong communication skills
- Previous experience in a school or similar environment is desirable but not essential
