The Impact You Will Make:You will be responsible to assemble/press/wash components to manufacture of aerosol valves, cans and components using automated production equipment within the CMF/Valve Assembly department, maintaining a safe working environment and GMP standards.
You will be expected to adhere to all site regulations, working safely and complying with all company safe working practices and procedures.
The Operator role will predominantly be based in valve assembly/CMF; however, duties may also include supporting the other departments when required.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Adhere to site regulations working safely and complying with all company safe working practices and procedures.
- Carry out safety checks and maintain a high standard of safety and housekeeping, reporting/highlighting issues.
- Ensure all production targets are met and accurately recorded through the department OEE reporting system.
- Complete paperwork accurately, legibly in line with the company GMP procedures/policy.

- Report all quality issues to the production/group leader immediately.
- Ensure a thorough and effective daily handover to include current setup/running status, using the Tier 1 process.
- Adopt and practice the company’s PRECISE values.
- Department expectations to be adhered to continuous monitoring of machines during production.
- Working to specific and detailed written instructions.
- Supporting internal and external audits including BSI and Groundworks.
- Be an active participant in Kaizen events and Continuous Improvement projects.
- Previous experience working within Valve Assembly in a clean room manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with automated / Semi automated machinery.
- Proficient, clear and accurate with paperwork/documentation completion.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Good understanding of GMP.
- Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Good organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Enthusiastic, flexible, conscientious and proactive in approach.
- To work efficiently with supervision or unsupervised as required.
- Take a positive approach to own training and development.
- Good decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and numerical aptitude skills.
- Salary £23,900 per annum plus 25% shift premium (increase after probationary period).

Shift Patterns:
06:00 to 14:00 and 13.45 to 21:45. This includes 2x 15-minute paid breaks and 1x 30-minute unpaid break.
