Job Overview

Salary
: up to £65,000 DOE

Position:
Veterinary Surgeon (Part‑time, 20 hours per week).

Location:

Darley House Vets, near Bolton, Manchester, and Wigan.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high‑standard patient and client care across a varied caseload.
  • Collaborate with the wider practice team to deliver excellent clinical service.
  • Develop and refine clinical skills, share knowledge with colleagues, and contribute to a positive clinical culture.
  • Support the ongoing professional development of team members.
  • Handle routine medical and surgical cases with growing confidence.
Qualifications & Skills
  • A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS.
  • Experience working in a clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development.
  • Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
