Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for reliable, ongoing work in the Accrington and Lancashire area?

Driver Hire Blackburn is currently recruiting for a professional and safety-conscious Class 1 Flatbed Driver to work with one of our well-established clients delivering steel products across the North West.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled C+E HGV Driver seeking consistent work, competitive pay rates, and the support of the UK’s leading transport recruitment agency.

As an HGV Class 1 Flatbed Driver, your duties will include:

• Operating a Class 1 (C+E) Flatbed HGV
• Delivering steel lengths and bulk steel products
• Safely securing loads using straps and load restraint equipment
• Managing overhanging loads in line with transport regulations
• Completing deliveries professionally and efficiently
• Conducting vehicle checks and maintaining safety standards
• Working Monday to Friday day shifts – no regular nights out

This role is ideal for drivers with experience in:

• Flatbed transport
• Strapping and load security
• Industrial or construction deliveries

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous flatbed or steel delivery experience preferred
• Confidence with load strapping and securing
• Strong understanding of driver safety and compliance
• Reliable and professional attitude
• £14.50 per hour PAYE
• £21.75 per hour overtime rate
• Weekly pay
• Regular Monday to Friday shifts
• Support from a dedicated local transport team
