Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day accounting operations of our business. This role is responsible for overseeing all bookkeeping functions internally while assisting offsite fractional CFO with data entry through financial reporting, using Quick Books Online as the primary accounting software. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable handling the full accounting cycle with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle bookkeeping process, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Track expenses and job costs
• Assist fractional CFO in coordinating with external CPA or tax preparer for year-end close and tax filings
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and applicable regulations
• Assist fractional CFO with analysis and reporting for management as requested

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
• Strong proficiency in Quick Books (Online and/or Desktop)
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a small to mid-sized business environment
• Familiarity with job costing or project-based accounting (if applicable)
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of financial processes
