Financial Consultant
The Lead Planner serves as the relationship manager for approximately 100 clients, overseeing revenue between $700k–$1.1M. This role provides comprehensive financial planning and investment management, including cash flow and tax planning, retirement planning, estate planning, insurance planning, and investment management. About 25% of the role will also focus on business development through networking, outreach, and identifying new prospects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow strong, lasting client relationships.
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans.
- Analyze and interpret financial information to create actionable strategies.
- Identify gaps in client plans and provide tailored solutions to help them achieve their goals.
- Communicate complex financial strategies clearly in both written and verbal formats.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide excellent service.
- Engage in business development, networking, and community involvement to attract new clients.
- Confidently present the firm’s value proposition to potential clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation required.
- Additional designation or specialization strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of experience with a financial planning firm.
- Proven success in driving business development and cultivating client relationships.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial planning tools.
Compensation:
- Base salary $140,000–$210,000, plus bonus structure tied to company profitability and revenue growth.
