SPD​/Scope Technician – PT

West Lake Surgery Center is seeking a
Part-Time SPD/Scope Technician
to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the proper cleaning, sterilization, and maintenance of surgical instruments and scopes to support safe and efficient surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Decontaminate, clean, and sterilize surgical instruments and endoscopes.
• Perform quality checks on scopes and maintain accurate records.
• Follow infection control and sterilization standards.
• Assist with inventory management and instrument tracking.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in sterile processing or scope reprocessing preferred.
• Certification in Sterile Processing (CRCST) is a plus.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation is competitive and is based on the skill set and experience of the successful candidate.
