Admissions RN – Weekend Package

Clive Behavioral Health Hospital – 100 inpatient bed stand‑alone mental health hospital in CLIVE, Iowa.

Job Overview

This full‑time role (36 hours per week, Friday‑Sunday 7a–7p) is responsible for timely processing of inquiry and referral calls, coordination of admissions processes, and liaison to referral sources, families, payors, physicians, unit and hospital personnel. The RN will verify insurance, triage patients, complete assessments, pre‑certify payor source, enter calls and admissions in the computer system, and complete all admission paperwork. They will communicate with unit staff and assist patients to unit.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing;
    Bachelor degree preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in psychiatric health care preferred; knowledge of DSM‑V, mental status exam, addiction and recovery field
  • Registered Nurse license in the state of Iowa
  • Unable to be employed by any UHS facility within the last 6 months
