Intake Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity - Weekend Package
This full time, working 36 hours per week, Fri/Sat/Sun (7a-7p)
Clive Behavioral Health is a 100-inpatient bed stand-alone mental health hospital. We provide compassionate inpatient and outpatient care for individuals who struggle with a behavioral health disorder or co-occurring disorders. Our care providers work closely with patients and their loved ones to help achieve their personal treatment goals. We provide a secure, healing environment for all our patients, staff and visitors.
We also offer intensive outpatient programming (IOP) for adolescents aged 13 to 17 and a substance use disorder intensive outpatient program for adults called First Step Recovery. Our goal with all of our programs is to help people reach their highest quality of life.

Intake RN - Weekend Package
Job SummaryResponsible for the timely processing of inquiry and referral calls. Responsible for coordination of all admissions processes and serves as liaison to referral sources, families, payors, physicians, unit and hospital personnel involved with each admission. Verify insurance, triage patients, complete assessments, ability to staff clinical effectively, enter calls and admissions in computer and complete all admission paperwork with patient. Effectively communicate with unit staff and assist patient to unit.
Pre-cert with payor source. Follow hospital’s policies and procedures regarding admissions.
Graduate of accredited School of Nursing;
Bachelor Degree preferred
1-3 years of experience preferred in psychiatric health care. Working knowledge of DSM-V diagnostic criteria, mental status exam, and addiction and recovery field.
Candidates employed by any UHS facility within the last 6 months are not eligible.
Licensure/CertificationLicensure as a Registered Nurse in state of Iowa.
