RN Operating Room PT

West Lakes Surgery Center has an exceptional full-time or part-time opportunity for an operating room RN.

Candidates for this position must possess:

• Commitment to patient care
• Excellent skills and clinical ability
• Experience in operating room care
• Ambulatory surgery experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certification, PALS preferred

The main duties of this position are:

• Supervises and directs patient care in a single operating room
• Organizes time, equipment, supplies, and personnel to provide effective and efficient case management
• Addresses patient needs during admission to the operating room, with attention to requirements specific to the ASC setting
• Provides nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and type of anesthesia administered
• Confirms that proper techniques and procedures are used according to accepted standards of practice
• Assists in inventory of supplies, drugs, and equipment to maintain availability and stock levels
