Sales Development Representative
Agency Bloc is hiring a Sales Development Representative to join our hybrid team in Clive, Iowa. The role requires onsite presence in the Clive office three days a week with the remaining two days remote.
Base pay: $45,000 per year plus commission.
OverviewThe Sales Development Representative will be a highly motivated self‑starter with a hunter mindset, responsible for driving demand for Agency Bloc’s solutions, uncovering new opportunities, and communicating value to prospects. The role is supported by the SDR Manager and the broader Go‑To‑Market organization.
Responsibilities- Generate a high volume (100–120 per day) of outbound calls and other prospecting activities to educate the market on Agency Bloc’s solutions.
- Use prospecting lists in Hub Spot to generate 15–20 qualified leads per month for Key Accounts and Inside Sales Representatives.
- Apply best practices with email, phone, and sequences to connect with new prospects.
- Conduct qualification calls with prospects.
- Collaborate with Sales Reps to conduct warm lead hand‑offs, develop prospecting strategies, and build a new business pipeline.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by your manager.
- College education is preferred but not required.
- One to three years of relevant experience.
- Ideal experience in a SaaS B2B selling environment.
- Previous cold‑calling experience with a proven ability to handle objections effectively.
- Self‑motivated with excellent time‑management skills.
- Strong written and oral communication, excellent listening skills.
- Team‑player with a collaborative approach and a coachable mentality.
- Knowledge of the health and life insurance industry is a plus.
- A true passion to meet and exceed measurable sales goals.
