**** Up to 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance. |
Provide patient care, e.g. oral feeding, toileting, position turning, patient transfer, bed making, napkin changes, skin care, etc.
Assist nurses for patient admission and attend in clinics
Assist doctors / nurses / therapists to prepare and carry out treatment programs / activities, educational activities and group activities for patients
Prepare patients for operations, X-rays and other procedures as instructed by nurses
Perform cleansing and disinfection of equipment, facilities and environment
Escort patients for operation, examination or treatment
Assist in setting up and assembly of equipment and prepare patients for investigation and treatment
Assist clinical staff to perform clinical procedures, e.g., vital signs measurement, urine tests, physical assessments, patient rehabilitation, wound care and bandaging, etc
Regular stocktaking of equipment and consumables
Perform general clerical and reception duties
Perform computerized system operation such as appointment booking and data processing
Handle general telephone / public enquiries
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors
Completed
F.5 / S.5 or equivalent (see Remarks); and
Completion of structured departmental training (see Remarks); and
Good command of English and Chinese, written and spoken.
Good PC skills & knowledge in common software such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and other MS Office applications.
Possess recognized Health Care Assistant Training / Care-related Support Workers Certificate*.
IT Knowledge: experience in OPAS / CMS operation.
Relevant health care or patient care related training / experience.
Experience in direct patient care and handling of patients’ enquiries.
Good communication and interpersonal skill.
Ability to speak Putonghua.
F.3/ S.3 with at least 2 years’ care-related experience may also apply. Candidates who have completed the JUMP program organized by the HA are considered to have attained
F.3/S.3 level.
