Base pay range$28.00/hr - $33.00/hr

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of the production floor, ensuring that products are manufactured on time, at the required quality levels, and within budget. The role involves leading production staff, ensuring safety compliance, and optimizing production processes for maximum efficiency. English and Spanish language skills are required.
Duties and Responsibilities- Lead a team of production workers to ensure high‑quality manufacturing standards and meet production goals.
- Plan and assign production tasks to team members based on workload and priorities.
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of production equipment and machinery to ensure they are in good working order.
- Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve technical problems.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of production quantities, downtime, and material usage.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing training to existing staff on safety procedures, production techniques, and equipment usage.
- Ensure production schedules are met and provide regular status updates to leadership.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and logistics, to ensure smooth production and timely delivery of products.
- Perform other duties as required to improve production operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or higher in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- English and Spanish speaking proficiency.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and inventory management.
- Experience with production scheduling software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
This position is conducted in a manufacturing environment with limited exposure to the outdoors. The environment includes stamping presses, roll formers, laser cutting, and standard sheet metal fabrication equipment.
Physical requirements:
lift up to 50 pounds. Tasks include standing, lifting, bending, twisting, walking, sitting, squatting, reaching above shoulders, and climbing.
Direct reports: production workers, including machine operators, assemblers, and other staff.
