Company Overview

We are a busy, well-established independent auto repair shop in Cloverdale, CA, known for quality workmanship, honest service, and a loyal customer base. We are currently seeking a skilled Automotive Journeyman Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is dependable, efficient, and committed to maintaining high standards of repair quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complete mechanical and electrical diagnostics and repairs on both domestic and foreign vehicles.
  • Conduct diagnostic, maintenance, vehicle repairs, wheel alignments, tire services, and diesel repairs.
  • Provide detailed diagnostics, inspection notes, and recommendations to Service Advisors.
  • Maintain a high level of efficiency, accuracy, and quality workmanship.
  • Properly operate and utilize diagnostic scan tools, testing equipment, and shop computers.
  • Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain an organized and clean work area.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in automotive repair.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic systems.
  • Diesel experience.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, computer and written skills.
  • Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Must possess a complete set of tools.
  • ASE Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain as a condition of employment).
  • Ability to bend, stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
