Assistant Store Manager

Supervises all operation, and sub. dept. managers and reports directly to Store Manager. Approximately one third of the shift is spent doing paperwork, such as interviewing and hiring, schedule writing, bookkeeping, and all other daily reports. This job is also responsible for all cash and profits of the store. The other part of the shift is spent dealing with the employee's concerns and customers relations.

This job requires a full understanding of all store operations, including Meat, Produce, Bakery/Deli and Grocery departments.

• Use of fingers, hands and arms.
• Use a 10 key calculator.
• Use basic math and calculate retail pricing.
• Organize and coordinate store activities.
• Establishes relationships with customers, suppliers and conducts company business in an ethical manner.
