We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Used Car Reconditioning Technician to join our dynamic automotive team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and preparing pre-owned vehicles to ensure they meet our high-quality standards before being offered for sale. This role is critical in ensuring customer satisfaction and enhancing the overall value of our used car inventory.

• Conduct thorough inspections of pre-owned vehicles to identify necessary repairs or maintenance tasks.
• Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance work on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
• Collaborate with the service team to diagnose vehicle issues and determine the most efficient solutions.
• Ensure vehicles meet company standards through quality control inspections and test drives.
• Maintain detailed records of reconditioning activities.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as sales and inventory management, to facilitate the timely reconditioning of vehicles.
• Continuously improve technical skills by staying informed about the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

• Proven experience as an automotive technician or in a related reconditioning role.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair techniques.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment used in vehicle repair and maintenance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• ASE certification or equivalent is a plus.
