We are seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Used Car Reconditioning Technician to join our dynamic automotive team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and preparing pre‑owned vehicles to ensure they meet our high‑quality standards before being offered for sale. This role is critical in ensuring customer satisfaction and enhancing the overall value of our used car inventory.

• Conduct thorough inspections of pre‑owned vehicles to identify necessary repairs or maintenance tasks.
• Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance work on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
• Collaborate with the service team to diagnose vehicle issues and determine the most efficient solutions.
• Ensure vehicles meet company standards through quality control inspections and test drives.
• Maintain detailed records of reconditioning activities.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as sales and inventory management, to facilitate the timely reconditioning of vehicles.
• Continuously improve technical skills by staying informed about the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

• Proven experience as an automotive technician or in a related reconditioning role.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair techniques.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment used in vehicle repair and maintenance.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• ASE certification or equivalent is a plus.
