Nalchajian Orthodontics is excited to add a Practice Manager to our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of leadership experience. In this dynamic role you will support the people and culture, as well as operational needs of a fast-paced clinic to ensure optimal practice performance with the overall goal of enhancing the patient’s experience.
The Practice Manager role will be performed from our Fresno and Clovis, CA office locations. Salary starting at $80,000/year

- Train and coach the team on new processes and techniques.
- Support all aspects of practice operations (e.g., treatment coordinating, scheduling, patient correspondence, third party services, etc.).
- Assist in the orthodontist’s examination, entering data and listening to the conversation between patient and doctor, taking appropriate notes in the patient’s chart.
- Review the treatment plan with the patient and educate them on the available options using tools (videos, PowerPoint, pictures, etc.).
- Support patients starting treatment by designing financial payment plans in collaboration with the responsible party.
- Generate correspondence from initial consultation and recall examinations for the referring dentist.
- Follow up with patients who are ready to start treatment.
- Complete monthly reports on key performance metrics.
- Submitting payroll and timesheet management.
- Respond to escalated concerns, addressing, solving, and reporting issues as they arise.
- Understand the flow of the office and the new patient process.
- Lead and maintain communication with doctors and team through huddles, meetings, and boards to foster an inclusive, team-based environment.
- Assist in marketing campaigns and social media posts.
- Assist with coordinating community sponsorship programs, events, and office contributions.
- You are a self-starter, willing to roll up your sleeves, get things done, and complete action items.
- Have strong business acumen with a deep understanding of the practice P&L, continuously looking for efficiency and cost savings.
- You are exceptionally organized, have superior attention to detail, and can multitask and prioritize appropriately.
- The ability to coach, guide and integrate teams effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and relationships.
- Well-developed leadership and collaboration skills.
- You are aligned with our company vision and values, which guide how we work.
- A bachelor’s degree or college diploma in business, office administration, or related field.
- Two years of previous experience managing a team.
- Previous experience in an orthodontic, dental, or medical environment.
- Prior experience in a customer service role.
- One or more years of formal leadership experience with demonstrated ability to coach and develop others is preferred.
