Art History Instructor (Part-Time Faculty Pool) Clovis Community College

Clovis Community College seeks a part-time Art History instructor. The ideal candidate will share the college’s commitment to educating its diverse student population and will be an equity-minded leader.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Art History courses, using a variety of pedagogies and integrating technology into their instruction. They will also communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff, and evaluate student progress.

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in Art History or a related field, as well as evidence of responsiveness to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.

Desirable qualifications include experience incorporating elements of diversity, equity, and inclusion into all areas of responsibility, as well as recent experience working with racially minoritized students in the classroom.
