Technical Writer

The Technical Writer position requires at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Experience authoring technical publications for highly technical and complex products.
• Experience working with complex network products, video delivery systems, and/or software for technical audiences, with proficiency in Structured Frame Maker (DITA).
• Familiarity with tools such as Acrobat Professional, Adobe Creative Suite, Word, Excel, DITA, SVN, JIRA.
• Experience collaborating within a content management system.
• Experience working in dispersed, multicultural teams is advantageous.
• Experience in an agile development environment is a plus.
• A degree in Computer Science, English, Technical Writing, or a related field.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt on the fly.

Responsibilities include writing user and technical documentation for process automation products, such as user guides, online help, release notes, and product specifications. The role involves working independently on projects, interacting with developers, testers, project managers, support staff, and SMEs, conducting interviews with technical experts, translating technical information for diverse audiences, and publishing documentation in various formats.
