Writing Specialist

Writing Specialist needs 3 years of related experience. Degree in Computer Science, English, Technical Writing or related subject.

Requirements include:

• Experience authoring technical publications for highly technical and complex products, including working with complex network products, video delivery products, and software for technical audiences.
• Experience in a technical and engineering-based company preferred.
• Proficiency with Structured Frame Maker (DITA).
• Knowledge of tools such as Acrobat Professional, Adobe Creative Suite, Word, Excel, DITA, SVN, JIRA.
• Experience collaborating within a content management system and working with dispersed, multicultural teams.
• Experience in an agile development environment is a plus.
• Ability to write user and technical documentation for process automation products, including user guides, online help, Release Notes, and Product Specifications.
• Work independently, interacting with developers, testers, project managers, support staff, and SMEs.
• Conduct interviews with technical SMEs to gather information and translate technical data into user-friendly documentation.
• Publish documentation in various online and printed formats.
