What Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse contributes to Cardinal Health Nursing & Clinical Support provides direct patient care and clinical support through treatment delivery, monitoring, and care coordination to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes. Licensed Vocational Nurses/Licensed Practical Nurses deliver basic patient care, collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to care for patients, including those diagnosed with cancer.
Responsibilities- Support California Urology Urodynamics program
- Assist with clinical procedures
- Testing regarding function of the bladder
- Catheter placement - insert and removal
- Patient Education regarding procedures
- 1-2 years of LVN experience, preferred
- Experience with Catheter placement, highly preferred
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience, preferred
- Must be available to work 1-2 days week during M-F
- Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete standard tasks
- Works on routine assignments that require basic problem resolution
- Refers to policies and past practices for guidance
- Receives general direction on standard work; receives detailed instruction on new assignments
- Consults with supervisor or senior peers on complex and unusual problems
