The Financial analyst is primarily involved with weekly and monthly performance reviews, preparation of stakeholder reports and timely and accurate analysis of accounting information. The Operations Analyst will be expected to provide analysis and present in a professional manner.
- Preparing various weekly and monthly reports.
- Analyzing monthly performance of business and identify underlying drivers.
- Assist with planning process, including model modification, updating, analysis and reporting.
- Process improvement and standardization in assigned areas.
- Complete month end closing tasks, as assigned.
- Collaborate with the Divisional and Group accounting functions.
- Inventory management and ensuring adequate provisioning.
- Compare and analyze actual results against plans and forecasts.
- Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses.
- Ability to effectively monitor variances in data sets, identify trends and communicate findings.
- Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data. - Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Adhere to strict deadlines.
- Lead special projects as assigned.
- Excellent accounting knowledge and accounting skills required.
- Willing to gain accreditation in CPA, CMA or equivalent.
- Must have demonstrably strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), to include speaking clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel (Advanced) Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Prior experience with ERP database is an advantage (SAP preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency in resolving issues. Good follow-up skills.
