We are seeking a dedicated Medical Director who will provide high-quality care to our clients and lead integrated care initiatives. This role involves close collaboration with the Quality Improvement team and the Chief Operations Officer to align service delivery with the agency’s strategic vision.

Summary of Duties: The Medical Director is responsible for providing direct patient care, overseeing MOUD treatment options, and ensuring coordination of care for best practice client outcomes. The position includes supervising prescribers, nursing staff, and leading monthly group supervision sessions.

• Provides direct patient care to a dedicated caseload
• Advises on patient care for other psychiatric providers
• Collaborates with nursing and prescribing staff, administration, and clinical staff to deliver quality patient care with evidence-based practices
• Provides PRN supervision for prescribers and nursing staff, and hosts monthly group supervision with all psychiatric and MAT providers and nursing staff
• Develops and monitors a strategic plan for the psychiatric department
• Participates in the development of psychiatric department policies and procedures
• Provides feedback and recommendations for improvement
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and activities
• Assists in training and educating psychiatric staff as needed
• Develops increased integration and coordination of care by recommending effective communication procedures within the department and agency staff

• Performs other duties as assigned

Full-time, 35 hours per week.

Starting Pay: $187,200 + depending on experience.

Bilingual - Spanish speaking strongly encouraged to.

Medical doctor with at least six years of experience directly related to behavioral health.

Knowledge of competency skills, mental health issues/diagnosis, typing skills, computers/programs, and ability to multitask. Must have knowledge of MOUD treatment models.
