Local Team Collaboration:

• We take pride in our well-established team of six physicians at Plains Regional Medical Center.
• Work alongside our team of clinicians from diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds dedicated to improving health and wellness in New Mexico.
• Within the hospital, we work closely with our colleagues in other departments to ensure a smooth transition of care.
• J1 candidates invited to apply; access to Sound's in-house visa specialists, as well as our licensing and credentialing experts.

Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in New Mexico.
• We are willing to mentor someone without leadership experience.

Flexible Scheduling:

• Days only, 7 AM 7 PM and 7 days on, 7 days off.
• This is a 100% clinical position.
• You do not need to live in Clovis; you can live in areas like Lubbock, TX, Dallas, or areas in New Mexico.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate comprehensive medical care and post-operative care in a 106-bed facility, including an open ICU with 7 beds.
• Provide clinical oversight and foster a family-like environment within a blended, collaborative team.
• No procedures are required. Codes run by hospitalists and ED.
• Utilize EPIC EMR systems and Sound's internal informatics platform.

• Compensation:
  Yearly base salary is $346,750
  • Attractive compensation package with a $50k commencement bonus.
  • The medical director stipend is $60k annually.
  • Eligibility to receive productivity and quality bonuses.
