Position: Pediatrician / Pediatric Physician MD/DO - Clovis, NM

Summary: Makes all professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen

Practice Highlights
  • Monday - Friday

    Schedule:

    Provider will have 36 hours of scheduled patient care and 4 hours of administrative time per week. 4-day work week option.
  • Call required per month includes inpatient rounding & attending newborn deliveries.
  • Pediatric Hospitalist on site during weekends.
  • Patient Volume is average 15 to 25 patients per day.
  • Procedures required to include circumcisions.
  • Deliveries 70-90/month. 8-12 bed Pediatric unit.
  • Student Loan Forgiveness Eligible (NHSC, PSLF, NM Health Professional Loan Repayment Program).
Responsibilities
  • Make all professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen.
  • Manage the physician/patient relationship.
  • Participate in system wide health management initiatives.
  • Provide input into the practice site’s financial, clinical, and service quality performance; budget; capital plan; and personnel issues.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of clinical and service standards.
  • Receive and resolve patient complaints.
  • Participate in the recruitment and replacement of other providers.
  • Consults with and advises other providers regarding optimal and cost-effective treatment of pediatric patients.
  • Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, in‑services, and workshops.
Qualifications
  • M.D./D.O. Board‑eligible or certified.
  • State of New Mexico Medical License.
