Practice Highlights- Monday - Friday
Schedule:
Provider will have 36 hours of scheduled patient care and 4 hours of administrative time per week. 4-day work week option. - Call required per month includes inpatient rounding & attending newborn deliveries.
- Pediatric Hospitalist on site during weekends.
- Patient Volume is average 15 to 25 patients per day.
- Procedures required to include circumcisions.
- Deliveries 70-90/month. 8-12 bed Pediatric unit.
- Student Loan Forgiveness Eligible (NHSC, PSLF, NM Health Professional Loan Repayment Program).
- Make all professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen.
- Manage the physician/patient relationship.
- Participate in system wide health management initiatives.
- Provide input into the practice site’s financial, clinical, and service quality performance; budget; capital plan; and personnel issues.
- Assist in the development and implementation of clinical and service standards.
- Receive and resolve patient complaints.
- Participate in the recruitment and replacement of other providers.
- Consults with and advises other providers regarding optimal and cost-effective treatment of pediatric patients.
- Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, in‑services, and workshops.
- M.D./D.O. Board‑eligible or certified.
- State of New Mexico Medical License.
