The Vascular Ultrasound Technician performs all types of extracranial and peripheral vascular ultrasound procedures.

Perform extracranial and peripheral vascular ultrasound procedures and provide accurate imaging data for patient care.

• High school/trade or vocational school in vascular ultrasound
• Certification/registration by ARDMS (RVT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RVS) required
• Registered Vascular Specialist (RVT registration strongly preferred)
• Minimum two years experience in vascular ultrasound procedures
• Must hold and maintain current New Mexico State Licensure under the New Mexico Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Program
• BLS Certification required at time of hire
