This position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract currently under bid.

The Medical Materiel Specialist I will perform general warehousing tasks, customer support, requisition, shipping, receiving, building medical kits, inventory management, Quality Assurance (QA), cargo preparation and deployment, including medical controlled items stored in a secure location, operation of various materials handling equipment, and updating DoD MMIS records.

• Logistical oversight and inventory management of the 27 Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) Response Enterprise to ensure precise SLEP/DMLSS statistics and effectively communicate all SLEP related updates to affected units, AFMED, and NGB/SGX
• Conduct monthly reviews and provide monthly reports to the COR on SLEP and DMLSS inventory records to ensure accuracy and program compliance
• Contractor also functions as Logical SLEP coordinator
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Track and document the usage of medical materials
• Assist in the procurement of medical supplies and equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of logistics field experience (preferably in Medical Logistics); be familiar with, and able to navigate/utilize, MMIS
  • Must be able to pass client background screening for security clearance
  • Travel may be required for this position
• Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of medical supplies and equipment is preferred
