Job Overview
Medical Materiel Specialist III (Lead) at Goldbelt Apex LLC. This position is contingent upon contract award under bid. Goldbelt Apex, part of the Healthcare Technology Transformation Group, is focused on process and quality. Lead specialist oversees medical logistics functions, advanced supply chain activities, biomedical equipment maintenance across deployed and contingency operations.
Responsibilities- Oversee Medical Materiel Specialists I & II and coordinate with COR.
- Process procurement, inventory management, distribution of medical materiel.
- Align operations with Air Force, DoD, and federal regulations.
- Track and replenish critical supplies for deployed and contingency missions.
- Optimize supply chain for efficiency, waste reduction, and response time.
- Maintain accountability and readiness of materiel to support mission requirements.
- SLEP / DMLSS coordination and reporting to AFMED, NGB/SGX.
- Conduct monthly audits and inventory reviews for accuracy and compliance.
- Assist procurement and use tracking of medical materials.
- Provide management oversight of onsite contractor staff.
- Coordinate logistics with base organizations, units, and agencies.
- Support Expeditionary Contingency Medical Materiel (ECMM) readiness.
- Serve as contractually‑appointed Air National Guard Influenza Program Manager.
- Deliver strategic readiness reporting and stakeholder collaboration.
- Supervise and train staff, manage performance and discipline.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Expertise in medical logistics, supply chain management, biomedical equipment maintenance.
- Strong leadership, supervisory, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or logistics related field.
- Minimum 10 years of medical logistics experience, including supervision and operational responsibility.
- Experience in healthcare or support setting with comprehensive understanding of WRM, FHP, IMAHR, ECMM.
- MMIS assemblage management expertise; may act as vendor‑contracted ECMM Lead/Supervisor.
- Prior lead, management or supervisory experience required.
- Legal U.S. work authorization without employer‑sponsored visa.
- Eligibility for security clearance (background screening).
- Occasional travel 10‑25%.
- Advanced degree in a related field.
