Work shift:
Weekday Monday‑Friday. Based at Plains Regional Medical Center.
Plains Regional Medical Center seeks a Food Services Manager to ensure cafeteria operations run smoothly, providing healthy meals to patients, staff, and visitors. Key duties include:
- Plan, coordinate, and control operations within the Food Services department.
- Maintain processes and systems; supervise and coordinate personnel.
- Direct and coordinate daily activities for staff, possibly across multiple facilities.
- Plan and supervise daily activities, train staff on safety and education, and attend educational forums.
- Recommend program strategies to implement policies and procedures for operations.
- Evaluate, maintain, and monitor performance of the department.
- Manage departmental operating budget and ensure operations stay within budget.
- Establish responsibilities and expectations for each employee.
- High school diploma required.
- Three to five years of management experience; experience in a health care setting preferred.
- Certification or vocational training in a related field is preferred.
