Host, Restaurant​/Food Service, Server​/Wait Staff

Job Description

Join Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar as Host and be part of a fun, flexible, and growth‑focused environment. You will greet guests with a warm welcome, assist servers with exemplary service, and maintain a smooth flow throughout the restaurant.

• Greet guests at the door with a smile.
• Assist servers in delivering exceptional service and managing guest flow.
• Transport plates, glasses, and baskets between the dining room, service bar, and kitchen.
• Wipe down tables, collect used dishes, and ensure the dining area remains clean.

• Minimum age 16 years.
• Effective communication skills and a commitment to making an impact.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and remain mobile for up to four (4) hours.
• Capability to safely reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Clear verbal communication and attentive listening to staff and guests.
• Willingness to wear protective hand coverings, face coverings or masks, and to work with disinfectant cleaning supplies throughout the shift.

Must have ability to remain stationary and exert well‑paced mobility for long periods of up to four (4) hours in length. Must be able to safely reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 25 pounds. Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to employees and dining room staff. Transports plates, glasses, and baskets to and from the dining room, service bar, and kitchen.

Ability to wear protective hand coverings through entire shift. Ability to work with disinfectant cleaning supplies throughout entire shift. Ability to wear protective face coverings and/or masks through entire shift. Ability to frequently wash hands with disinfecting soap throughout shift.
