Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase excellent organization and time‑management skills, while establishing long‑term retailer relationships as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. Occasionally you may work on other product lines in the stores you service.

  • Your starting pay will be $12.00–$14.00 depending on skills and experience.
  • Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
  • This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
  • Average weekly hours are between 5–8 hours.
  • Availability during the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
Your Role And Responsibilities Will Include
  • Day‑to‑day engagement:
    Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you will restock, organize, and monitor inventory in Hallmark and adjacent departments. You will communicate with supervisors via the device for time reporting, feedback, and surveys. Professional and courteous interaction with store staff and customers is essential. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores.
  • Holiday support:
    You may work additional hours up to and after holidays such as Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. On some holidays you may be needed on the actual holiday, including weekends.
  • Department resets:
    You may participate in installing and relocating Hallmark fixtures, rebuilding card sections, or resetting department areas. Your manager typically provides at least two weeks’ notice for such assignments, which may include evenings or weekends.
  • One Team Vision:
    As part of Hallmark’s field organization, you support other team members in their territories as needed.
Physical Requirements

This role requires a high level of energy and urgency. You will work on the sales floor and in back stockrooms, consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons and display fixtures up to 30 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. The job also requires kneeling, squatting, walking, and standing throughout the day, and climbing stairs or ladders as needed.

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum age 18 years.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Capacity to lift up to 30 pounds often and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Comfortable operating a digital hand‑held device to read documents and interpret information.
  • Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
  • Reliable transportation to travel between assigned stores on schedule.

Part‑time employees (less than 30 hours) are eligible for voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage (preventive care).
