Overall Job Summary

The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute “start to finish” tasks such as planograms, merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The FAST Team Member will interact with customers and Team Members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as needed.
• Communicate proactively with District FAST Supervisor about work completion and issues.
• Complete planograms, resets, and store layout initiatives accurately and timely.
• Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform store measurements.
• Complete cycle counts and the Tractor Way top cap process.
• Hang store signage and assemble merchandise and fixtures.
• Perform detailed recovery and review planogram integrity.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
  Greet, Uncover Needs, Recommend Solutions, Add Value & Appreciate.
• Ensure a memorable shopping experience that differentiates from competitors.
• Provide peak coverage as needed, e.g., Day After Thanksgiving.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Prior retail and/or merchandising experience required. Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to resolve issues ethically with minimal conflict.
• Self-directed with the ability to complete tasks independently.

Working Conditions

• Mostly indoor work with moderate noise; outdoor lots and store floors are hard surfaces.
• Shifts typically no less than 4 hours, may exceed 8 hours.
• Travel between store locations using personal vehicle, often for long periods.
• Adhere to safety guidelines to promote a safe environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to travel as needed.
• Push/pull up to 2,000 pounds with equipment; lift or reach overhead as needed.
• Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks regularly.
• Operate store equipment and handle merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Operate vehicles and perform other physical activities throughout shifts.
