This Opportunity
Position is based in El Paso, Texas but we will consider candidates living in the Texas Panhandle, Permian Basin, or nearby West Texas / Eastern New Mexico areas. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading remediation systems, as well as groundwater monitoring and soil sampling.
Your Impact
- Support groundwater treatment system operations and maintenance.
- Assist with environmental soil and groundwater sampling programs.
- Document field work: daily notes, monitoring logs, O&M inspection logs, spreadsheet or tablet data entry.
- Conduct routine travel and field work collecting samples, moving pumps and hoses.
- Other duties as assigned by Environmental Leads.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience with remediation systems, groundwater monitoring, soil sampling, or an engineering degree with 2 years of system operation experience.
- Ability to multi‑task and prioritize evolving project requirements.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Detail oriented, team‑oriented, able to lift 50 lbs and perform physically strenuous tasks.
- Experience with MS Word and Excel.
- Valid driver’s license; travel ~50‑75% required.
