Team Member - Burger King by Applegreen @ Commodore Perry Travel Plaza $15/hr

Join to apply for the Team Member role at Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers. This role involves providing customer service, food preparation and serving, and supporting daily operations at the travel plaza.

• Provide friendly customer service and assist travelers with their needs.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Follow proper food handling procedures including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking product temperatures.
• Prepare and perform kitchen tasks such as prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products and maintain product knowledge for plaza offerings.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, twisting, lifting and carrying at least 40 pounds.
• Ability to read, understand instructions and policy documents and converse with customers.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
