Position Summary
Applications are invited for Cardiology Clinical Fellow vacancies at the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital. These posts are available from August 2026 to August 2027.
Roles & Departments- Intervention and Imaging
- Scottish Adult Congenital Cardiac Service (SACCS)
- Scottish National Advanced Heart Failure Service (SNAHFS)
The SNAHFS, SACCS and Intervention and Imaging roles may include a rotation between departments.
LocationThe successful applicants will be based within the West of Scotland Regional Heart and Lung Centre at the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital in Clydebank. The hospital houses the Scottish Adult Congenital Cardiac Service, Scottish National Advanced Heart Failure Service, and the Scottish Pulmonary Vascular Unit. It is also the regional tertiary centre for cardiac surgery and complex electrophysiology for the West of Scotland and the largest volume PCI centre in the UK.
FellowshipDetails
These Fellowships offer excellent opportunities for clinical experience in Coronary Intervention, Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD), and Advanced Heart Failure (including cardiac transplantation and mechanical support). These posts are suitable for Specialist Registrars or trainees seeking Cardiology subspecialty experience.
Eligibility RequirementsApplicants will be expected to hold MRCP (UK) or an equivalent qualification, be registered with the GMC, and have relevant experience in General Medicine and Cardiology.
All applicants must have MRCP(UK) or equivalent as a mandatory requirement for consideration for shortlisting for this post.
