• Head Teacher must complete the Head Teacher Report template and attach it to your application in the 'COVER LETTER' section. You are not required to write a cover letter.

  Provide evidence of Catholic Church Approval. If pending, confirmation will be sought from Church Representative.
• Denominational Primary posts:
  Must hold the Catholic Teaching Certificate or Catholic Religious Education Certificate.
• Denominational Secondary posts:
  Must have RC Approval for the school you are applying to.

This post is considered regulated work with children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council. The employment is excepted from the provisions of section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975.
