We are looking for an experienced, motivated, individual with an excellent track record in school management with strong interpersonal and leadership skills. An individual with the ability to develop and lead the school and support us with our commitment to develop and deliver a high quality learning environment ensuring that all pupils achieve their full potential.

Applicants must seek Catholic Church Approval when submitting their application for the post and a copy of the Approval should be provided to the Chair of the Panel prior to the interview. Where this is “pending” we will seek confirmation from our Church Representative that approval application has been submitted.

Applicants for permanent posts in a denominational primary school must also have the Catholic Teaching Certificate or Catholic Religious Education Certificate.

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here. Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
