• Provide a specialised respiratory service to ICU, HDU, and ward areas within the cardiothoracic service.
• Conduct specialist assessments and develop treatment programmes for patients with complex needs and multiple co-morbidities.
• Report directly to the Cardiothoracic Team Lead and the Rehabilitation Divisional Lead.
• Manage physiotherapy care, including complex patient assessments and the execution of specialist treatment programs.
• Coordinate rehab programmes across various settings and provide guidance to staff on patient management.
• Maintain accurate and updated clinical records in line with legal and departmental standards.
• Facilitate referrals to outside agencies for ongoing physiotherapy as needed.
• Support less experienced staff, sharing new insights gained from continuous professional development.

• Current HCPC registration.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably with acute surgical and respiratory experience, and ideally with intensive care experience.
• A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate easy commuting to different facilities as required.
