Healthcare Support Worker

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Endoscopy Nursing Team here at the Golden Jubilee.

The Endoscopy Unit opened in September 2024 and is a state of the art unit. With 5 procedure rooms and 14 individual ensuite patient PODs.

The role is solely in the POD and Discharge Area and is vital in ensuring the smooth running of the unit. Duties include general housekeeping of both these areas, ensuring PODs are turned over in a timely manner to minimise patient delays.

Provision of diet and fluids for patients post procedure.

You must have good communication and organisational skills and be able to work in a fast paced environment. Previous experience in a customer facing role is desirable. You should be able to demonstrate a commitment to safe, effective patient‑centred care, whilst having a ‘can‑do’ attitude.

Our Clinical Education team is on hand to provide support; from staff induction to delivering our monthly education days.
