The Golden Jubilee University National Hospital is the West of Scotland Heart and Lung Centre. It is home to the Scottish National Advanced Heart Failure service and Scottish Adult Congenital Cardiac service.
OverviewAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a very experienced physiotherapist to join our rehabilitation team as a specialist prehabilitation practitioner. The post holder will deliver and develop our prehab service for cardiac and thoracic surgical patients.
Responsibilities- Deliver prehabilitation services to cardiac and thoracic surgical patients.
- Develop and continuously improve the prehab service.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery.
- Extensive experience as a physiotherapist.
- Advanced assessment, clinical reasoning and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Motivated and driven to deliver high‑quality patient care.
