Maintenance Technician / Mechanic

The board is seeking to employ a Maintenance Chargehand who will be responsible for coordinating with Jubilee Staff and contractors to ensure all works are completed in a timely and compliant manner, and when required relay technical information to non‑technical staff.
They will assist in the allocation of tasks relating to the fabric of the building and areas of statutory compliance, and assist management in the planning of minor projects by both internal and external staff.
QualificationsThe successful candidate will have a recognised apprenticeship in a relevant trade (City & Guilds or equivalent) and have demonstrable experience in planning and coordination of work. Knowledge of internal NHS systems and policies would be advantageous.
As the post holder will be working within a close knit team good interpersonal and communications skills are essential.
