We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller to join a well‑established and growing precision engineering company. This is an excellent opportunity to work with modern CNC machinery, producing high‑quality components for a range of industries including aerospace, oil & gas, automotive, and general engineering.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating and ideally programming CNC milling machines to manufacture components to exact customer specifications.

• Set and operate CNC milling machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Carry out tool changes and machine offsets.
• Inspect components using measuring equipment including verniers, micrometers and gauges.
• Ensure components meet quality standards and tolerances.
• Conduct basic machine maintenance and housekeeping duties.
• Work efficiently to achieve production targets while maintaining quality.

• Previous experience operating and setting CNC milling machines.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Experience working to tight tolerances.
• Knowledge of Fanuc, Heidenhain, Siemens or Haas controls is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Offline or online programming experience.
• Experience with 3, 4 or 5‑axis machining.
• Apprenticeship or engineering qualification.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software.
