37 Hours Per Week, alternating weekly shifts - Days 07:00-15:30 / Lates 15:30-00:00 Pay: £16.13-£22.26 (depending on shift/allowance) Join a skilled, empowered team making a real difference in safety-critical aerospace components. * CNC programming and machining on 3-axis milling centres (setting & running)
* Working to Manufacturing Instructions, Specifications and Customer/Regulator requirements
* Interpreting engineering drawings and following the process layout and documentation procedures
* Carrying out OCQ (Operator Control of Quality) checks, including stamping to confirm assemblies meet Honeywell and Customer standards
* Ensuring work is completed on time and to the required quality
* Working effectively in a lean environment , collaborating within a team and reporting to the Team Lead
* Using hand measuring equipment such as Vernier, micrometers, thread gauges, and plug gauges What you'll bring:
* Knowledge of CNC Milling and/or related machining experience (Heidenhain knowledge is preferred but not essential)
* A strong safety mindset and the ability to adhere to Health & Safety standards at all times
* Teamwork, flexibility, and the confidence to use initiative
* An eye for detail and a commitment to continuous improvement
* PC literate, with the ability to learn company operating systems as required
* An understanding of the significance of safety-critical work in the aerospace sector Additional information:
* Skilled/Indentured Skilled workers required for on-site work at Honeywell Aerospace, Yeovil
