We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Glasgow Road, Clydebank. The role is a permanent part‑time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 20 hours work each week, generally including some weekend work.

  20 per week (standard part‑time)
• Pay: £13.61 per hour, guaranteeing at least £272 per week. Overtime may be available.

• Support the manager as part of the management team, leading the shop to run efficiently and deliver excellent customer service.
• Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly, and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy environment.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and develop the retail assistant team.
• Control operational costs, including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

• A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
• A people person capable of building strong working relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Trustworthy and reliable, as you will be an important part of a small team.
• Previous experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or a similar industry is preferred but not required.
• Occupational DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check (Scotland) will be required if hired.
