Retail Supervisor – Full Time

We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Glasgow Road, Clydebank. This is a permanent 39 hour full time position working a variety of shifts, five days a week. Please note that for full time positions we will generally require you to be fully flexible in your availability for work throughout the week, including weekends.

We offer an hourly pay rate of £13.61 and a guaranteed minimum of 39 hours work per week. This means you will earn at least £530 per week, with overtime potentially available to increase earnings.

• Support the manager as part of the management team, leading the shop to run efficiently and provide excellent customer service.
• Take full responsibility for running the shop in your manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop the team of retail assistants.
• Control operational costs, including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

• A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
• Strong interpersonal skills – easy to get on with everyone and build working relationships.
• Trustworthy and reliable, demonstrating a strong duty of care to both team and customers.
• Prior experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or a similar industry is preferred but not required; we welcome candidates ready to take the first steps in a retail management career.
• Availability to complete a Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check if hired, confirming no unspent convictions. Employment is subject to satisfactory checks.
