Business Development Manager – European Road Freight
Location: Clydebank
Bright
PathHR is recruiting on behalf of a freight forwarding client looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to grow its European road freight business.
The role
- Identify and win new business across UK and European freight markets.
- Build strong client relationships and develop repeat business.
- Prepare competitive quotes, negotiate rates and secure profitable transport contracts.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure a smooth service for customers.
About you
- Previous sales or business development experience within freight forwarding, ideally European road freight.
- Strong understanding of freight rates, routes and profit margins.
- Confident winning new clients and managing commercial relationships.
- Self-motivated, commercially minded and comfortable working independently.
An established industry network would be an advantage.
