We’re seeking a passionate and motivated Desktop Support Technician who is eager to dive into technology, solve problems, and grow their career with us.
In this role, you will support end-user devices, troubleshoot technical issues, and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations across desktops, laptops, and related systems. This position is ideal for someone who loves technology, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to expand their skills as part of a collaborative IT team.
The position is based in the Coachella Valley, and candidates must reside within 60 miles. The work schedule is five days per week, including weekends, with participation in the on-call rotation.
Key Responsibilities- Daily backups
- Application monitoring
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues in a timely manner
- Support users with Microsoft 365, collaboration tools, and standard business applications
- Maintain and update IT asset inventory, ensuring proper tracking of devices and licenses
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding, including account setup and equipment provisioning
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers as needed while learning from their expertise
- Contribute to documentation of processes, solutions, and troubleshooting steps
- Collaborate with the IT team on projects to improve systems and workflows
- 2 years of experience in IT.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Casino gaming industry experience, especially in administering CMS
- Knowledge in administering POS systems, especially Micros POS and Procurement systems
- Experience with mass deployment platforms
- Experience with vSphere
