City Manager

The City Manager plans koken, organizes, and provides administrative direction and oversight for all City functions and activities, including policy guidance and program evaluation for the City Council. The role mentors staff, facilitates service delivery to residents and businesses, fosters relationships with intergovernmental and regulatory agencies, promotes economic and community development, attends community events, engages residents, and performs related duties as required.

The ideal candidate is a visionary, strategic, high‑energy leader who can collaborate with city council, staff, and stakeholders to achieve economic growth and improve quality of life for a diverse community. They possess broad public‑sector governance skills, proven community development experience, strong financial acumen, and the ability to set a proactive, organized example. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are required to manage the City’s future initiatives and build effective relationships with regional partners, staff, the school district, and elected officials.

A candidate who demonstrates positive teamwork, morale building, innovative problem‑solving, and experience with municipal finance, administration, and community & economic development is highly valued.
