The Retail Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operational, analytical, and administrative functions of Red Falcon LLC’s retail operations. This position serves as a key liaison between Retail, Manufacturing, Distribution, and other operational departments to ensure product availability, purchasing decisions, and production planning are aligned with retail sales performance and customer demand.
The Retail Operations Coordinator analyzes sales trends, inventory levels, product velocity, and purchasing activity across Red Falcon retail locations and provides actionable information to the Regional Manager and operational leadership. Responsibilities include preparing sales and performance reports, overseeing retail purchase order activity, identifying slow-moving and aging inventory, supporting inventory allocation and replenishment, and coordinating Manufacturing to forecast production needs based on retail demand.
This position works closely with the Regional Manager and Store Managers to improve product assortment, inventory turns, purchasing consistency, and overall retail performance while maintaining accurate records and supporting standardized operational processes across all locations. Sales Reporting & Analysis: Run daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc sales reports across all retail locations; analyze sales by store, category, brand, SKU, and product type; identify trends, opportunities, and performance concerns. - ·
Production Planning: Partner with Manufacturing to develop production needs and priorities based on retail sales velocity, current inventory, historical demand, promotional plans, and projected demand. - ·
Purchase Order Oversight: Review and oversee Manager-generated purchase orders for cannabis goods to ensure quantities align with sales performance, inventory levels, product assortment, and established purchasing guidelines. - ·
Slow-Moving Inventory: Work with the Regional Manager and Store Managers to identify slow-moving and aging inventory and recommend promotions, transfers, markdowns, purchasing adjustments, or other sell-through strategies. - ·
Inventory Level Monitoring: Monitor inventory levels across retail locations and identify potential stockouts, overstock conditions, and imbalances between stores. - ·
Inter-Store Inventory Balancing: Identify opportunities to transfer inventory between locations based on sales velocity and demand rather than unnecessarily purchasing or producing additional product. - ·
